Frequently asked questions

How soon after having my baby can support begin?

Support can be arranged for the early days and weeks after you return home, or later if that is when you feel you need some additional help. We can discuss your expected needs during your free consultation.

Can you prepare meals for the family?

Yes. Simple meal preparation and batch cooking can form part of your support plan. We will discuss your preferences, dietary requirements and the type of meals you would find most helpful.

What can my support worker help with?

Your worker can help with agreed practical household tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, simple meal preparation, shopping and home organisation. Your support plan will reflect what matters most to you.

Can my partner or another family member arrange support for me?

Yes. A partner or family member can make the initial enquiry. However, we will involve the person receiving the service in planning their support so that it reflects their wishes, routines and preferences.

Is this a medical or maternity service?

No. VivoLuxe Home Support provides practical, non-medical home support. We do not provide midwifery, nursing, medical advice or other regulated healthcare services.

How long are visits?

Our postnatal support is designed around meaningful blocks of time rather than rushed visits. We can discuss the frequency and length of visits during your consultation and create an arrangement that works for your family.
